National Do-Not-Call-Registry Additions

The "National Do Not Call Registry" gives the public a choice about whether to receive telemarketing calls at home. However, even if you add your number to the Registry, telephone surveyors, political organizations, and charities are still free to call you. In the interest preserving the public's right to privacy, this petition asks that the above entities be added among those who are not allowed to call those numbers that have been added to the Registry. This would omit those entities who you have voluntarily had contact with in the past, unless you asked them not to call you.
