Everyday in the United States people receive a bulk of jjunk mail: Fliers, Coupons, ect. If you saved up your junk mail you for a month you would have several pounds of paper that is little more then pure waste, multiply that by how many home there are in the us, How many tons of paper are wasted each day? What is the enviromental impact of this? Does the postal service need to be spending our money delivering tons of trash to our homes?
We have a 'do not call list' to prevent telemarketing, I propose a 'Do not mail list'. It will cut down on the postal service doing mealiness work, Americans dealing this useless waste, and It's environmentally friendly too.
