"The NFL generatres billions in broadcast and licensing deals for its teams and brings in about $255 million in revenues annually. It paid its commissioner, Roger Goodell $29.4 million in 2011." This is from a Feb. 2, 2014, article I read online. If true, why is the NFL a "not for profit" organization? Are all its profits paid out in management salaries? I believe the NFL should be considered a "for profit" business and pay income taxes as do other "for profit" businesses.
