Just like people in the military, dogs deserve some appreciation and respect too. I mean after all they also played a key part in our history. K9 Veterans Day is intended to honor military dogs as well as those working with police , customs , border patrol , service , therapy , and other working dogs whose main mission is to protect and serve our great nation aswell as the people within it. Working dogs are commended for their loyalty and devotion and are known for playing themselves in danger just so they can project their partners, handlers , and trainers. Thus making the ultimate sacrifice
