National Legalization of Medical Marijuana

Marijuana, for medicinal purposes, should be legal to provide aid to those with severe illnesses. Medical marijuana can be used to help those with cancer, due to it being an anti-emetic, which helps chemotherapy patients suffering from nausea. Medical marijuana can also be used as a muscle relaxant, or to help those with eating disorders, due to it stimulating hunger. As for it being addictive, so is tobacco and alcohol. If we raise the next few generations of our children to believe that marijuana is for medical purposes only, they will only receive it, or think they need it, when they are sick. It will also cut back on crime, and take drug dealers, and gangs, off the streets. The U.S. Government can tax it, and with it's broad usage across the US, it will immediately boost the economy.
