National Potato Day

In order to improve the competitiveness of the chain of agricultural production and increase potato consumption per person per year, the potato farmers of America would like to officially recognize the potato as an important national product and part of the American diet. This day, to be held on May 30th of each year, would aims to see the exchange of experiences and knowledge about the historical, nutritional, economic and gastronomic importance of the potato.
