National Referendum

Congress has less than a 15% approval rating, yet we will re-elect up to 90% of them. That's because we all have the mindset "it's not MY representative that's the problem.. it's YOURS." Really... it's ALL of them! I couldn't vote out the Senator from West Virginia who spent more of my money than all of my Senators combined over 40 years. If we had National Referendum we could recall any of them and make them more accountable to ALL OF US rather than their cronies for whom they swing deals. They can have a fabulous bill but Congress has bastardized the Constitution phrase for 'amendments.' They pack on hundreds of amendments one after another with deals spending our money on pet projects. How many buildings have Robert Byrd's name on them? Murtha? Helms? Give power back to WE THE PEOPLE!!
