Given the constant voting disasters, attempts at voter suppression, procedures and equipment problems, neither states nor political parties should be responsible for Presidential elections. So I created a petition which says:
"Part I: The U.S. Government should be responsible for voter registration of all citizens. There should be standard requirements, standardized form and process plus a national database so any eligible voter can check status.
Part II: The U.S. Government should be responsible for Presidential election process: standardized voting procedures, formats, equipment, and tabulation."
