A National "Work From Home" Initiative

In today's economy, a lot of companies are already using work from home strategies to save money. If we challenged more businesses to take that leap through tax incentives, we could lower greenhouse gases and oil consumption by taking cars off the road. Local small businesses could see more customers by the simple gesture of going somewhere walking distance for lunch. Parents could be more closely involved in their children's lives by being able to pick them up from school. Companies could save a ton of money from not having to purchase office space. Those office spaces could be re-purposed for some unforeseen use (my suggestion: homeless shelters). Also less traffic. This is totally within reach, a lot of companies are already doing this, others just need that extra push.
