Fossil Fuels are known to be diminishing rapidly, and the
companies that had been barreling free-flowing oil & gas are
now "in the hunt" for more resources, which requires larger and larger sums of capital to produce. I fail to see how they can presume "fracturing" to be a "natural" extraction method,
whereas simply pumping up from below would be "natural".
Such is the current economic reality -- that oil is now costing us MORE TO PRODUCE than its WORTH as an economic basis of national financial health. Of course this has been true even since off-shore drilling ...
Burning of Fossil Fuels is KNOWN to produce increasing amounts of carcinogens in our atmosphere, whether it be in the air, or the water, or the soil -- of many contaminants that ADVERSELY AFFECT HUMAN HEALTH.
