As a high school teacher, I have noticed a growing trend of students not meeting graduation requirements due to simply moving to another state during their high school career. I am proposing to have a system of national graduation requirements. However, the individual states would still have certain freedoms within its parameters and per the Ninth Amendment. An example would be to have four units of Mathematics required for graduation, and the states could offer what math courses they seemed fit. This would also coincide with Common Core guidelines.
