Funding for education in the USA is perversely provided by local property taxes. We think that such a system undermines the universal value of education by tying it to the affluence of the community.
Therefore, we petition the Obama Administration to nationalize all funding for primary and secondary education in order to ensure a sufficiently educated and privileged society.
