Despite the unfortunate perception that Islam is a religion opposed to good governance, civil liberties, and religious freedom, the people of America need to know that, as stated by Shaykh Abdullah bin Bayyah of Mauritania , Muslims are obligated by their religion to abide by the laws of the nation, and work to further the cause of justice and peace in their societies, whatever difference of opinion there may be.The American people are intelligent enough to understand when religion informs the politics of any given state,It does not automatically entail ruthless tyranny over the religious choices of citizens as in the Constitution; whenever politics becomes separated from the ultimate realization that living with honor, peace and tolerance is a God-given right, it is ruthless & immoral.
