Dog racing is form of entertainment to some and gambling to others. However, behind the scenes of dog racing portrays an awful truth. Greyhounds who race are crated for long periods of time and some rarely see the light of day. They are mistreated and neglected. Killing a dog for simply not being fast enough or being too old is another harsh reality of this terrible sport. Many states have banned dog racing but not all. A ban on dog racing MUST become a federal law! These beautiful creatures deserve better lives than the ones they currently have in the life of racing.
