Today many days of the year schools are closed for various holidays, ones that people celebrating are merely being happy, or having fun. But the muslim holiday of Ramadan, requires children of 12 and up, and urges children of 7 and up to fast for 1 month:The Islamic month of Ramadan. This and not to mention the 6 days every year in which muslims celebrate Eid, visiting others homes, and cooking feasts. Most importantly, these children often skip school to celebrate Eid, or sometimes suffer when they fast at school, working nearly 8 hours to go home and do their homework. Why should these children lose their education, and suffer? When all we need to do is click a virtual button.
