I believe stand your ground is a good law; however, it has work that can be addressed. First of all, we need more specific reason's for when lethal force can be used. The sidewalk is not considered lethal force, if the person being attacked can use the same sidewalk. Lethal force can only be used if other lethal force items are present. Such as a gun, knife, brass knuckles, broken glass bottles, poles, crow bars, and/or any tools of a sort that would cause great bodily injury. If there are no weapons present then lethal force cannot be used, period!!!
