Negotiate a deal to sell Michigan to Canada.

I propose the withdrawal Michigan from the United States of America, and to work a deal with Canada to purchase the land in turn, for a monetary compensation. This will forever be known as the "Michigan Purchase."
Not only will Canada benefit from the new land expansion, but the United States government will feel get closer to resolving it's issue of national debt.
Michigan has been hit the hardest in the midst of this depression, and we need true "Hope and Change" that was not resolved by (American President) Barack Obama. Progressing from the stars and stripes, to the good ole' Maple leaf is just the positive movement needed in America.
This transition is meant to be peaceful, and will declare the State of Michigan a new addition to the Canadian Providence of Ontario.
