Negotiate Ted Cruz National Historic Park treaty with the Government of Canada.

Created by M.I. on January 19, 2016

The childhood home of presidential candidate and Texas Senator Ted Cruz (R) is currently in private ownership in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Private ownership inherently means that demolition and/or significant alteration could be made to the present property. This endangers future cultural and/or historic uses of the property as a tourist destination and park location. To protect these significant resources, Secretary of State John Kerry is encouraged to negotiate a treaty with the Government of Canada for purchase and preservation of this homesite.
