In a recent court ruling the idea of Net Neutrality was put to rest turning the internet into a future battleground. Net Neutrality essentially means that all content on the net is accessible, regardless of who provides it. Now, with this recent ruling, companies that provide your internet are going to restrict not only your access but also the content creators access. Take for example:
Company A provides your internet
Company A owns NewsCorp A
Company A is rivals with Company B
Company B owns NewsCorp B
Company A is allowed to not provide internet access to the website for NewsCorp B
This issue is going to shape our future when it comes to the internet. So ask you, the people to join me in this petition to ask the government to step in and restore Net Neutrality.
