With recent changes to our laws and overtime, many companies are moving salaried employees to hourly. Which is great, but our government taxes overtime federally at rates as high as 28%. For those of us in the working class, we never see much of a benefit to working over time, but can still be required too. We want the government out of the pockets of hard working employees that are being taxed to death on overtime. Overtime should be taxed at the same rates as regular hourly wages. And not a penny more.
