Animal Cruelty has reached epidemic levels and seems unstoppable. The torture and killing of innocent animals is getting worse in this country and around the world. Some people feel that there is free rein to bring pain and to kill animals.Torturing animals has become a way of life for many people. The acts of cruelty have become more sadistic, and more violent. We are supposed to be the most civilized nation on Earth. The continuing torture these animals have to face is unnecessary and horribly terrorizing for them. Many people like myself feel helpless because we cannot get justice for them. We need laws that will be enforced. We need punishments that fit the crime. I would bet anything that animal abusers would think twice if they knew they were going to be put to death.
