We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

New minimum standards for police academy's across the nation.

Created by E.S. on July 07, 2016

With the average police academy time of 18 weeks , police officers are sent out into the community undertrained and over stressed. Due to what appears to be an excessive use of lethal force, we the people propose that a minimum standard of 1 years time of training is needed to become a police officer. With more emphasis on the use of force. This would ensure that the nations police officers are sent out into our community's better equipped to deal with the stressful situations that they deal with during their duties.
