New Policy On The Use Of Weapons For Police Officers

In light of the recent deaths that have plagued the USA from the hands of police officers we the people need new policies in place to prevent further killings. Join me in a new proposal to restrict the use of lethal weapons to those in the United States military and those that serve in a SWAT capacity on the police force. It is not unreasonable for police officers to only use their verbal skills along with baton, pepper spray and taser to subdue a suspect. Furthermore, I propose that those wanting to be a police officer in the United States must have a degree from a four year University in criminal justice or the like. Police Officers that wish to protect and serve should know and understand the Constitution laws they are to protect and enforce.
