Banning the sale of semi-automatic "military style assault weapons" will not break the cycle of violence, no matter how bad The President wants it to. It will only hinder the true meaning behind the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms, and the ability to defend ourselves.
Banning the sale of so-called "high capacity ammunition clips," also known as 30-round magazines, also will not break the cycle of violence nor suppress criminals' violent actions towards others. This will only hinder the true meaning behind the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms, and the ability to defend ourselves.
