NO DEATH PENALTY, AND AMERICAN TRIAL FOR SGT. BALES. This highly decorated soldier should not be subjected death penalty

Created by K.M. on March 17, 2012

NO DEATH PENALTY, AND AMERICAN TRIAL FOR SGT. BALES. Sgt. Bales is a highly decorated soldier, that has served his country honorably for years. Multiple deployments and the trauma suffered in an accident, obviously pushed him over the edge. The military, the President, and others should be held accountable for re-deploying this soldier to the war zone. By so doing, they were saying he was "fit for duty" when obviously he wasn't. Though the tragedy is horrific, and the loss of life due to his actions more than we can comprehend, the facts are, the Taliban prisoners in Guantanamo Bay are not subject to the death penalty, therefore, Sgt. Bale should not be either.

Afghanistans calls for Sgt. Bale to be returned to their country for trial, should be denied. Sgt. Bales is an American.
