Hi,
I have come across lot of people who could not take advantage of HARP programs since banks would not help them. They are good people who even though lost jobs etc, never missed payments on their house. They borrowed or somehow managed to make the payments. The banks don't help unless you stop paying for upto 6 months only then they consider loan modifications.
For some people they conscience would not allow to cheat,but they also deserve to take advantage of the HARP programs.
So government should create a law for people with good credit,who never missed payments with 0 documentation to do loan modification easily. It should be straight forward process. Would help millions.
Present process takes 3-6 months and after 6 months banks deny since they were on time with payments.
