We petition the federal government to made insurance companies and government-funded healthcare programs cover chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapy, and applied kinesiology to all patients who choose this type of healthcare. These providers are culturally discriminated against by insurance companies. These doctors attend several years of medical school, must pass a state board exam, and are licensed.
Laws have been passed to require every person to have insurance or pay a fine, so this is unfair as each patient pays an insurance premium, taxes, or is elderly or disabled and cannot come up with the cash to pay. A person has a right to choose any doctor he/she wants to see. In addition, as taxpayers we want to reduce the cost of healthcare nationwide.
