All members of congress and elected officials must abide by the laws and regulations they impose on the United States general public. Congress and elected officials should not be exempt from what is required by the United States general public.
If congress and elected offcials could not exempt themselves from laws they pass more due diligence would be applied before a law is enacted or regulations are imposed on the United States general public.
