No Government Employee Should Make More Money than the President of the United States

Created by A.M. on December 05, 2013

There is no job in the US that is more difficult, complex, demanding or important than the President of the United States. So there is no reason any publicly paid individual should make more money, especially not millions and millions more. If enacted this proposal would save the people a lot of money. It could also help bring down the cost of running Public Universities. Future contracts for government workers at institutions receiving federal funds should have salaries lower than that paid to the President of the United States. This would be enforced by threatening to withhold government grants and aid if the State institutions do not comply. This would affect coaches and University Presidents
