No Lifetime Politicians: Reform Congress and Government Agencies

Created by D.W. on February 26, 2013

There should be no such thing as a "Lifetime Politician". Politicians should be concerned citizens who work in the private sector and leave their fields for a short time to serve the country, and return to private life. Therefore:

1. Term Limits. 3 Terms Maximum per person in all elected federal offices combined. 1 Term Maximum per office.

2. Reduce pay of all offices to that of the "average american" therefore at this time no political office should make more than $50,000/year.

3. Eliminate any and all forms of lifetime pay. No-one should ever get lifetime pay from the government. Therefore if someone serving in government wants to have a 401K/IRA so be it, but no pension or pay after duty of any kind.

4. Suspend payment when duties not preformed, EI no budget is passed.
