We, the people, feel that a week in June should be dedicated to the celebration of the coming of summer. Too long have we been subjugated to the unjust shackles of long pants wear.
As the weather starts to turn warmer, dress codes across the nation should become more relaxed and allow men to wear shorts (or kilts) and women to wear shorts and skirts (or kilts).
We are proposing that the week of summer in June be dedicated to more comfortable wear. We strongly believe that this liberating action will increase work productivity, friendliness amongst the populous and create an overall wonderful effect.
This is the moment, people! We have the power to change the world, for one week! Let's do away with long pants and welcome the summer!
