War veterans have protected the freedom and the safety of this nation. We,as a nation, need to stand with our active duty serving in war zones and our war veterans. Many that reap the benefits of this nation will never know or understand the sacrafices they and their families have given to this country. This is the least the we can do to help these families that have done so much. We have several multi million dollar corporations that not only pay nothing in taxes but, get refunds. At this same time we have war veterans, that have served honorably, that are having a difficult time just surviving in these economic times. Many are too proud to ask for government assistance that is, in the opinion of many, more than owed to these fine men and women.They fought for us, now it is our turn.
