No member of Congress or any other Government office should be allowed vote for their own pay raise.

I want to make sure that our elected officials are held accountable on their job performance and should only be entitled to raises when they are actually doing their job. I think there should be a jury of 5 citizens randomly selected and paid 5,000 each for their service and judge whether or not a pay raise is warranted by the state of our country.
