Although Obama does not want a large scale military intervention to take place, even a limited military response to the seemingly purported--at this point--use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government can backfire and prove disastrous (just look at our recent history). The president should at least wait until the UN investigation is complete in order to corroborate U.S. findings.
