Please find a way of helping in the Syria Crisis, without the use of military strikes. Let us celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. by continuing to honor his legacy by following in his footsteps. Martin Luther King Jr. said “Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.” We cannot create a better humanity by creating more hatred and extending more hurting. Where would we be today if Martin Luther King Jr. took a different approach and advocated fighting hatred with more hatred? What would America be like today? Today I am afraid, but I still have faith, and I still believe. I believe President Barack Obama can set an example for today’s children, our future leaders. And like MLK Jr., I hope & pray an example for humanity.
