We the people ask the federal government to Call on Congress to act on an issue:

No more Electoral College, let the popular opinion be heard.

Created by J.B. on November 11, 2016

Since the time of our Founding Fathers, the Electoral College has been the one deciding factor for who becomes President. If our country works off the "majority rules" democratic approach, it does not make sense that the Electoral College is still in place. Turning to the Popular Vote instead would be more representative of the people of these United States. Although tradition is important in this country, holding on to old practices is not always conducive to staying true to the core values of democracy.
