No more homework: Growing movement, especially early on, to ban after-school assignments

Kids stay in School as a full time job.They stay,seven to eight hours for 5 days a week and they come home with homework?They have homework and they have reading,vocabulary and spelling. Give them a break! Is very important for their development ,to relax, to play and do extra activities,like music, instruments ,sports. KID MUST BE KIDS. Majority of kids has lack of sleep. They go to bed too late and wake up early in the morning .13 years in school and with so many obligations is what is making lots of young adults to lose their desire to get higher education. They find a minimum wage job and don't want to go to college. Please lets help our kids to be kids... NO MORE HOMEWORK. Majority of Teachers are well paid and our kids have more than enough time to do their tasks in class.
