When the lawyers of giant corporation like Monsanto become a Supreme Court Justice, or a top program director of another giant corporation becomes the head of the bureau that is supposed to regulating the corporation that they previously worked for, how can we as they American People trust that these people are doing the job appointed them instead of looking out for the interests of their former employer? There seem to be too many kick-backs and flat out nepotism going on. When a politician is only in office for 2 years, only physically doing their job 3 days a week, and spending most of the time fund raising for their next campaign, why should any legislature be signed when written by the corporate lobbyist who donated the most money? Have we become the best democracy money can buy?
