Dokdo is a territory of Korea.
Japanese government claims that it is their territory.
Since even before the Japanese empire was established, Dokdo have been a part of Korea, and it was belonged as one of islands of Korea for more than 2000 years. After second World War broke out, Japanese Empire claimed that Korea and a part of China is a colony of Japan. Japanese soldiers killed the Queen of Korea and started to rule Korea. However, at the end of WWII, Japan has signed and agreed with the terms that Japan will give up on all the territories and colonies that they obtained during the WWII period, including Korea, Dokdo and other East-South Asia countries.
Nevertheless, Japanese government keeps claiming that Dokdo is theirs even thought there is no evidence that Dokdo is their land.
