We the people of the United States shouldn't be financially responsible for immigrants. Under the new proposal to allow immigrants welfare using United States tax dollars would create more debt. The current welfare program is designed to aid legal residents and citizens of the United States of America. This program isn't responsible to aid immigrants that decide to move here. If a individual decides to move here, then they should take the normal steps of moving to another place (saving up money, getting a visa, researching the jobs they qualify for ect). This creates a potential citizen to be dependent on the system and not be independent for themselves if they are allowed to use tax dollars through the welfare programs.
