The ability of the people to approach and see the White House is an important symbol of freedom and openness in our government.
This access should not be reduced because of performance lapses by the Secret Service.
Please remove the temporary barrier that has been installed outside the fence and commit to preserving an important symbol of American liberty: do not add any new fences, barriers or checkpoints.
