Our government officials are taking extended vacations to avoid losing their job or to play political games.
I propose that no vacation can be taken while bills, proposals, or laws are still awaiting an up or down vote. If they do, then each rep. will personally be fined $1000 for every day they remain in recess.
No second chances and no waivers.
Those reps. should be dismissed if they exceed a theshold by missing too many days or it is determined that they are avoiding a vote because of political games.
