No Pay for Federal Legislators

Created by J.B. on December 07, 2012

If the Federal House of Representatives fails to raise the debt ceiling resulting in the United States' inability to meet its existing legal obligations as authorized by Congress. Then all Federal Legislators, House of Representatives and Senators, should be required to forfeit their pay and other stipends for the remainder of the budget year. They cannot be reimbursed for any of the funds they are required to forfeit even if they raise the debt ceiling after the deadline.
