No Pollution in Water

Created by J.Q. on February 23, 2014

Whether the pollution is in our plastic bottles, our shower head, our faucet, or our hose that we use to garden, it can be extremely hazardous/detrimental to our health. David Glatt, head of the environmental section of the North Dakota Health Department, said work has continued at the Tioga site where a pipeline owned by Tesoro Corp. began leaking crude oil on a wheat farm on Sept. 29.Approximately 20,600 barrels spilled, one of the largest spills in state history. The time expectancy to cleanup this oil spill will take at least two more years. Tesoro said that the cleanup cost is estimated at $4 million. However, there is nothing being said about a fine that they are obligated to pay.We must take action! 1st incident, the fine should be triple the cleanup cost. 2nd, CEO put on probation.
