No School Gym for Student Athletes that are Involved in School Sports

Created by C.P. on November 13, 2014

We, the student athletes of America would like for there to be no mandatory Physical Education for those involved in after school sports. Us student athletes spend at least 2 hours a day practicing our sports after school. Our schedules are constantly busy with school, sports and homework. Getting home late from sports and having to do massive amounts of homework causes us to be doing school work into the early AM. This then causes us to fall into a vicious cycle of sleep deprivation and causes un needed stress on us. We propose that for the duration of the sport season that the student athlete is involved in, they would not have to participate in the regularly scheduled Physical education classes. This newly found free time would allow us to complete homework in school.
