The United States has no benefit to be gained in the area of national security by launching a military attack against the sovereign nation of Syria, a country that poses no threat to America whatsoever.
The notion that America is somehow responsible for the military needs of Israel is a notion whose time has past. It is in fact a violation of the U.S. constitution's prohibition of establishment of religion for America to tend to the security concerns of the Jewish state.
