No war or military force as foreign policy tool in Syria and to stop pre-defense as a legitimate reason for deadly force

Created by A.B. on August 27, 2013

President Obama has received the Nobel Peace Prize. As the recipient he should lead the country to use tactics other than violence to resolve conflicts worldwide.

We ask the U.S. to not to enter the Syrian situation using the United States military. While there is suffering and people in need, military action by the U.S. will not solve the problem. It is a poor example of leadership.

We ask the U.S. to reconsider the use of pre-defense as a a reason for military intervention as well. This tactic increases the chances of conflict in the future. The pre-defense strategy also injures civilians and killing and injuring people are not an acceptable costs for addressing terrorism.
