Many military personnel that join our armed forces are between the ages of 18-22 and more and more young lives futures are destroyed by the military's Zero tolerance policy towards marijuana, though marijuana is still illegal federally, it is common knowledge that well over half of the american population has smoked and are continuing to smoke leading normal lives. Yet since laws are not changed and still remain unjust and outdated so many more military lives will be jeopardized unless actions are taken to either decriminalize or legalize the non violent and non threatening act of smoking a substance that has only ruined lives by the act of punishment and not the actual act of consuming the product,.. representing as a former military personnel I ask that my consideration is implored.
