Nominate Bryan Stevenson or his organization, Equal Justice Initiative, for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Created by V.O. on January 29, 2016

President Barak Obama as the 2009 Nobel Laureate can nominate an individual or organization to receive the distinguished Nobel Peace Prize. Mr. Bryan Stevenson or his organization are worthy of this honorable distinction.

Mr. Stevenson of the the Equal Justice Initiative represent indigent prisoners. A fraction of this notable work is chronicled in the book, "Just Mercy."

The work engages, changes to laws on capital punishment, juveniles and exonerating the innocent, that stands to reposition our nation as a world leader of civil and human rights within the criminal justice system.

President Obama's banning solitary confinement in juvenile federal facilities recently sent a message. One that would be reinforced by our president nominating Mr. Stevenson for a Nobel Peace Prize.
