Dear President Obama,
In June 2004 Captain Khan, serving in Iraq with his Infantry unit were guarding the gates of their base. A suspicious car appeared. Captain Khan ordered his until to get back, and he took 10 steps forward toward the car. The car exploded and killing Captain Khan in action, while his unit was saved by his courageous act.
Captain Kahn embodies the ideals, value, service to others, and love of Country. He lived in action “E Pluribus Unum” out of many, one in his service to US Army, and the sacrifice he made for his until.
Captain Khan has already received posthumously awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. We request that his file be reviewed and be upgraded to United States Army Medal of Honor.
